Advanced material manipulation for complex, high-durability industrial components.
A versatile approach to technical plastic engineering
Thermoforming involves heating a flat plastic sheet until it reaches a pliable moulding temperature and shaping it over a custom tool. We utilise a suite of techniques, including vacuum forming, drape forming, and hot wire bending, to achieve the precise geometry your project requires. This process is the ideal choice for creating durable, lightweight components that maintain structural integrity across demanding environments.
Selecting the right substrate for your specific application
We work with a broad spectrum of technical materials, including ABS, Polycarbonate, Polypropylene, and HDPE. Each substrate is selected based on your performance criteria, such as impact resistance, aesthetic finish, or thermal stability.
Investment-ready infrastructure for low-to-mid volume runs
Our Birmingham facility is equipped with seven machines, offering a significant size range from 1m x 0.6m up to 2.5m x 2.7m. This extensive capacity allows us to manufacture everything from small internal trim pieces to massive exterior vehicle fenders. Because thermoforming requires relatively low tooling investment, it remains the most cost-effective solution for high-quality low-to-mid volume production.
Whether you have a finalised design or a complex engineering challenge, our team is ready to provide the technical expertise and manufacturing precision you need.
